Visit: Hampton Court, Oxford Colleges, Broughton Castle, Shakespeare Houses, Bosworth Battlefield, Burghley House.

 

• July 15: Overnight
  London Arrive in to London and be transferred to Thistle Kensington Park Hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city at your own leisure. Meet back at the hotel this evening for dinner with the rest of the group.

• July 16: Overnight
  London This morning your driver will collect you from your hotel and take you for a visit to the spectacular Hampton Court Palace, without doubt one of the most impressive and beautiful of all the Royal Palaces. Free afternoon to explore London.

• July 17: Overnight
  Stratford upon Avon at the Falcon Hotel
  Depart London for a(2 hour)themed walking tour of the Oxford Colleges and a visit to Elizabethan Broughton Castle where the focus sharpens on the filming of “Shakespeare in Love”.

• July 18: Overnight
  Stratford upon Avon. A full day (9am – 4pm) visiting the Shakespeare Houses, five beautiful historic houses and gardens all connected with William Shakespeare. This evening experience one of Shakespeare’s plays at the Swan Theatre.

• July 19: Overnight
  Stratford upon Avon. This morning debrief on last nights show
  (1 hour). This morning take a special tour of the Shakespeare Library (1 hour) and the manuscript viewing (1 hour). Attend an evening performance at the
  Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

• July 20: Overnight
  Stamford at the Garden House Hotel. Debrief on last night’s show (1 hour). Free day to explore Stratford at your own leisure. Meet back with the group late this afternoon and depart for Stamford via the Bosworth Battlefield site, where you will have a guided tour. Check in to your hotel in
  Stamford this evening.

• July 21: Overnight
  This morning you head to the sumptuously appointed Burghley House, the finest example of later Elizabethan architecture in England. Have some free time this afternoon before attending the Rutland Open Air Theatre in the grounds of historic Tolethorpe Hall, with a pre-performance discussion.

• July 22: Overnight
  London at the Thistle Kensington Park. Today you will return to London for some free time. Late this afternoon take a tour of Shakespeare’s Globe before attending a performance at this unique theatre.

• July 23: Departure
  Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
