Neither Woke nor MAGA: Stardate Zero, Join the Journey
by Peter Feinman
Teacherhostels bring teachers to the locations where events in history happened. They provide the opportunity to hear first-hand from the scholars on the subject, to meet with the curators who maintain the historical legacy, to walk the grounds and see the sites. Even if teachers can’t bring their own students on a field trip to a site, they can return to the classroom with the experience of having been exactly where the events they occurred and where the people they mentioned lived.
