What Do Putin and Trump Have to Look Forward to?

What do alpha male Putin and alpha male wannabee Trump have to look forward to? The two losers are forever linked by the dual frontpage headlines above the fold on the print edition of the New York Times, November 10, 2022. Across the top, headline read “those who passed the litmus test to become approved Trumpican candidates lost in key states.” Just below, the headline read “In another major retreat in the special military operation, Putin withdrew his forces from the city he had just proclaimed annexed by Russia forever.”

At this point, the two men have an aura of loser surrounding them. What do they have look forward to in Ukraine or in the American political arena?

PUTIN

How many strategic retreats in a special military operation can one have before admitting defeat?

Putin failed in the effort to capture the capital.

Putin was pushed backed in the northeast.

Putin was pushed back across the river at Kherson.

Putin has had one partial mobilization.

Putin has scraped the bottom of the barrel to find bodies to throw into the battle.

Putin searched the globe for additional bodies so desperate is he for cannon fodder.

It is getting to the point where he could not defend Russia from an invasion by the Baltic States!

We are used to Russia absorbing the invasions from the west by Napoleon and Hitler before turning the tables. Now it is the Russian military forces which have reached their limit and have begun pulling back. Do you think there is going to be a second land offensive into Ukraine by Russia? Do you think the withdrawal of forces from Kherson is the last Russian withdrawal? Quite the opposite. It will be Ukrainians who will be pressing their momentum this winter.

More and more Russian families want to know what has happened to their loved ones. The task of hiding the truth will become more and more challenging.

The hope that European unity will collapse over the winter seems like wishful thinking. The American arms pipeline to Ukraine will continue. At some point the combination of sanctions and the spending on the war will take a toll on the lives on the Russian people.

Could what is happening in Iran also happen in Russia?

How many shoulders does Putin have to look over?

The course of events in Russia does not loom well for Putin because the course of events in Ukraine do not either. Since the Kremlin is far from transparent, it is hard to say what will happen. Putin could keep renewing his term in office until 2036 when he will be 86, but somehow it is hard to imagine him lasting that long. Putin’s “savvy” move to fulfill a Peter the Great destiny may turn out to be the dumbest thing he ever did. The moment of truth will occur when Putin no longer can maintain the illusion that he is Peter the Great, that he is restoring, that he is winning in Ukraine. When that moment comes, he my go ballistic.

What will happen then? He cannot just push a lever, turn a key, or press a button. Other people will have to carry out his orders. Will they?

Once before, an American President had to show the skill, foresight, and patience to let the Iron Curtain fall and the Soviet Union collapse in what Putin regards as the “biggest geopolitical catastrophe of the century.” Now another American President may have to do the same for the collapse of Putin.

TRUMP

Even as everyone in America is caught up in the election on 2022, life still goes go in the legal arena for the Loser. In one case, a judge ruled that Trump lawyers had to pay fines and receive sanctions for a frivolous lawsuit about a vast conspiracy of perceived enemies arrayed against him. Although I am not a lawyer and have not read the ruling, I get the impression that the judge had had it with the complete and total nonsense of Trump lawyers abusing the legal system for the political agenda of an immature child with the emotional maturity of a three-year old.

The case delivered a doubled message:

1. MAGA means “Make Attorneys Get Attorneys” meaning lawyers accept Donald Trump as a client at their own financial and legal peril.

2. Pay attention to the little case that don’t get much attention.  For example in case against the Trump Organization involving former Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg, we already have seen the Trump lawyers show their willingness to throw him under the bus – it was all Weisselberg. Now Controller Jeffrey McConney has testified about the mechanics behind the financial skullduggery behind the payments to avoid taxes. One wonders exactly who is going to defend the actions of the Trump Organization. One wonders if other people are catching on that no matter how loyal they have been to him, he will not be loyal to them as Michael Cohen has been saying for years.

The Georgia Senate runoff scheduled for December 6 means any indictments either by the DOJ or in Georgia or both will be pushed back until after that time so as not to interfere with vote. Assuming the Democrats lose control of the House by no matter how small a margin, the House Select committee will be issuing its report shortly thereafter as well. In other words, it will not be “Happy Holidays” for the Loser.

It’s hard to see what Trump can do to escape the taint of being a loser. We know that stigma was something he has strove to avoid at all costs practically since childhood. We know that he made he made his loss the 2020 the litmus test for receiving his blessing in 2022. We now know that even though he is name was not on ballot in 2020, he is the President who is being blamed for being the loser while Joe Biden is taking victory laps.

On November 15, he will try to assert his power in the Republican Party. He will be meaner. He will be more insulting. He will be nastier. He will dare any wannabee from running against him. He will demand fealty. He will make the lives of McCarthy and O’Connell a living hell. The new litmus test will be supporting his candidacy in 2024 right now or feel his wrath.

While the Freedom Caucus has been garnering all the attention, what about the Real Republican Caucus. There were ten who voted for impeachment in the current Congress. How many will there be in the new Congress? Republicans who have had enough and are ready to move on? We may know soon from some votes.

Did anyone think he would appear before the House Select Committee on November 14? As expected, he is trying to run out the clock so his red wave can rescue him and on his income taxes. But there is no red wave. What happens if despite his ranting and raving, the House Select Committee recommends the House holds him in contempt for not compliance?

They are not afraid of the Loser anymore

At times, it is starting to look like “Murder on the Orient Express.” Everyone is coming out of the woodwork to castigate Trumpty Dumpty’s failure.

He is not used to being the ridiculed figure of failure from his own supporters. He lacks the maturity to deal with a situation where Republicans are eager to make fun of him and to talk about moving on.

Like Putin, Trump will have a moment when goes ballistic. However when that moment comes it means he will implode and become even more deranged. Even as we prepare for his announcement of his candidacy for 2024, he just may be a loser spouting hot air.

 

Can Trump Succeed Where Hitler, the Soviet Union, and Bin Laden Failed?

Adolph Hitler could not destroy America.

The Soviet Union could not destroy America.

Osama Bin-Laden could not destroy America.

Donald Trump can but he needs help.

On January 3, 2021, I posted a political action thriller blog. It was about the books and movies from the 1960s, where people were trying to take over the country and/or destroy the world. The blog was written prior to January 6. It also was written prior to all that we know today about the events surrounding the failed insurrection attempt by a defeated President. Just when you think you know all that there is to know about the event, you realize that you do not.

Sometimes actions are funny like throw a plate a ketchup on the wall and see what sticks.

Sometimes they are revealing like the lunge for control of the car to turn it around and take the Loser to the Capitol so he could appear as the valiant hero leading his forces to victory in the House chamber.

Sometimes they are scary when you realize the forces sworn to defend the Constitution took the advice to stand down. After all the insurrectionists were “my [armed] people” who had been marshalled to storm the Capitol and not Black Lives Matter or Antifa.

The question We the People now have to ask is could it happen again? Could the insurrection be successful in 2024 whereas it failed in 2020?

The second question is do the American people realize that the insurrection of 2024 is on the ballot in 2022?

THE 2024 INSURRECTION

2024 will not be a repeat of 2020.

The Insurrectionist in Chief will not be in the White House and Commander in Chief.

The Vice President would not do what the 2020 Loser wanted the 2020 Vice President to do and the laws will have changed.

If armed forces were gathering at the Capitol, the government forces would shut them down even before the event occurred.

Many of the people who led/participated in the insurrection have been arrested, found guilty, or even pleaded guilty to sedition.

There will be no Gettysburg (January 6, 2025: Suppose Biden Loses?).

The battleground will have shifted elsewhere.

THE WOUNDED EMBATTLED INSURRECTION LEADER

The situation for the leader of the insurrection also will have drastically changed. The immature child with the emotional maturity of a three-year old will be in a vastly altered terrain than he inhabited in 2020. No matter how much he still wants to play President, no matter how much Team Wackadoodle tells him he is the President, and no matter hard he clings to his souvenirs about when he was President, the landscape will be very different.

Just think of upcoming events this months:

1. His upcoming deposition about a rape case
2. The sentencing of Stephen Bannon and his tentative efforts now to avoid prison contrary to his early bluster
3. The start of the trial against the Trump Organization with his very own CFO testifying against him.

Even his own lawyer knows that Mar-a-Lago indictments will follow shortly after the election.

And there is more to come. In other words, there will be a constant stream of legal activities surrounding the Loser and his associates. For months if not years to come, he will be busy defending himself and throwing other people under the bus.

One should keep in mind that he is not an authoritarian leader as in China and Russia. People still make the mistake of analyzing his actions as if they were those of an adult. He lacks the cognitive skills to plan and organize anything remotely resembling a fascist authoritarian state. He is an immature child of the moment responding in CAPS to any attempts to hold him accountable in the adult world and force him to stop playing. That does not mean that there are not people working for him or on his behalf who are not seeking an authoritarian order as long as it is the right person in charge.

One may anticipate, as is already happening, that as the legal world closes in on him, so his performances in the political wrestling arena will ramp up. He will be more openly bigoted and more fervently embracing of QAnon. He constantly will be stoking his people to rise up the likes of which has never been seen before in this country the more the law moves to catch up with him and hold him accountable.

STACEY ABRAMS MOMENT

Remember Stacey Abrams? It was not that long ago – one governor cycle – when she was the “It” girl. She was the one getting widespread media attention about the changes she was about to spring on the State of Georgia and American politics write large. Now she is running again but with hardly any notice. And even the Democratic Senate wins in Georgia in 2020 are largely attributable to the actions of the meddling President as well as to her.

The same can happen to Ron DeSantis. Right now he is receiving a great deal of attention. Can he maintain that level of public interest and standing until 2028? The same applies to any of the wannabees. It is very difficult to sustain a level of enthusiastic support for years upon years if you are not named Kardashian. Just as Abrams had her moment in 2018, the wannabees will have their moment in 2024. If they do not act then, except perhaps for the one who is selected to be the Vice President candidate, the others will be relegated to the sidelines.

This means that Trump is going to be double-squeezed. On the one hand, the legal entanglements will continue to mount. They will become more and more serious. The attempt to reorganize out of New York State demonstrates the recognition that he has a lot to lose financially. Other cases suggest he could be facing not only civil penalties but criminal ones. I am struck by the comment by the judge in the rape slander case that the defendant and plaintiff are in their late seventies so the constant delay tactic will no longer suffice. Legally, Trump will become a wounded crybaby constantly lashing out in CAPS and reminding people how unfit he is for the job of President.

Sometime in 2023, a DeSantis or another wannabee will have to strike. Sometime in 2023, a DeSantis will have to proclaim there is an alternative to the wounded crybaby and he, Ron DeSantis is the one. We can see glimmers of the canaries in the coal mine already. We can see Trump-endorsed candidates pulling back from the Trump platform. In one case, we can even watch a candidate do a 180 degree turn. So there are signs that if one wants to win a state or national basis as opposed to a gerrymandered-House district, relitigating 2020 might not be a proven winner.

If a wannabee does push the wounded crybaby offstage, how much of the MAGA enthusiasm is transferable? Right now he is their Lord and Savior, the Chose One, Blessed Be his Name. The wannabees do not possess his charisma, energy, and skill in exploiting the MAGAs. QAnon cannot so easily switch to a new savior. The racist anti-Semitic militias cannot so easily switch their allegiance to anyone else now in the national arena. So if the wounded crybaby drops out for legal reasons, all bets are off in the chaos that follows to attempt to fill his shoes.

STATE ELECTION INFRASTRUCTURE

In the meantime, the effort to seize control of the election infrastructure continues. Think of 2020 as a beta test to determine the election weaknesses which can be exploited in 2024. It isn’t as if 2020 started out that way but now with hindsight it exposed the people, positions, and laws which needed to be changed to ensure a Democratic defeat in 2024.

The upcoming elections represent a test drive of the Steal the Election 22.01 for 2024.

Laws have been changed to enhance voter suppression and rig the counting.

People have been installed in the trenches to intimidate voters.

Trumpicans have cleared the decks of Republicans in elections throughout the land.

The last part of the testing for 2024 will occur in three weeks.

Given the low ratings of Joe Biden and the immediate concern over inflation, food, and rent, people are more likely to vote locally than based on the national need to save democracy in 2024. At this point, no one anticipates a blowout like 2010 or 2018, still in the civil war currently underway, it is reasonable to expect gains that will translate into success in 2024. So while the political action thriller movie is not yet over, we are getting closer and closer to the moment of truth. The war is being fought on so many battlefronts and on so many political levels that it is hard to follow all the action and unlikely that either side will achieve a decisive blow in this election.

Historic 2024 Presidential Rematch

Look How Much We Have Progressed!

The 2024 Presidential elections is shaping up as an historic one in many ways. Of course, in this rapidly changing world, sometimes it is hard to keep up with events. I tend to read the morning papers in the evening. Frequently I learn that what I am seeing on the TV screen and reading in the paper are out of synch.

Let’s start with the easy one.

REMATCH

The upcoming Presidential election will be the first rematch since 1956. In that election Dwight Eisenhower defeated Adlai Stevenson for the second time. Strange as it may seem now, the nomination of a loser was not that strange in the opening decades of the 20th century. William Jennings Bryan and Thomas Dewey had done the same previously in the Democratic and Republican parties. Since that time, individuals have sought their party’s nomination on multiple occasions, but the loser in the general election has never run again.

One difference this time is that the 45th President does not accept that he was the loser nor do his followers. We have seen the tape from the House Select Committee of the Loser not being able to acknowledge on January 6, 2021, that he had lost the election. As a result in the minds of many, 2024 will be a battle between the rightful winner in 2020 and the person who stole the election from him. In fact, based on the media coverage, one might still think 45 was still president. Compared to LBJ in the 1960s, 46 receives scarcely any attention for his legislative achievements. 45 easily can dominate the first 30 minutes of a cable news talk show. Strangely enough, that means in the 2022 midterm elections, voters may be more likely to vote against the daily barrage of criminal actions associated with 45 than in favor of the achievements of 46.

There was never any doubt that 45 was going to run for third time. The timing of the announcement was subject to debate particularly as it relates to the filing of financial reports. The declaration of candidacy was a given since January 20, 2021, even if not spoken out loud. The only issue was whether any of the wannabees would challenge him. Now we know.

The execution of the warrant at Mar-a-Lago ensures that he will not be challenged. All the wannabees did the Kevin-McCarthy-kiss-the-ring a Mar-a-Lago genuflection in response to the actions of the FBI and DOJ. None of them said, “Enough is enough.” None of them said it was time to move on. Instead they all pledged their loyalty to their leader no matter what hare-brained explanation he provided. With the plea deal of Weisselberg and testifying of Giuliani, we can anticipate many such moments of loyalty affirmation in the weeks, months, and years ahead. The wannabees have been jockeying for position in the hope that there will be an opening in 2024. Barring medical reasons and maybe prison, there will be no opening.

The only one who did not get the memo is Mike Pence. He still thinks he is on a divinely-ordained path to the Presidency. Maybe he is positioning himself for 2028!

As long as Donald Trump is the candidate for 2024, then so is Joe Biden. If one of the wannabees successfully challenged the Loser, the results would be different. Biden is not going to let it be said that he backed down and quit rather than face the “real winner” of 2020 in a fair election. Otherwise, given his age and recent legislative victories, Biden would have no qualms about retiring as a one term president. But as long as Trump is the Republican nominee, then Biden will be the Democratic nominee.

1824 BICENTENNIAL

In a few blogs, I have commented on the generally overlooked election of 1824. Its marks the end of the First Party System of Federalists and Republicans (Jefferson) and the emergence of the Second Party System of Whigs and Democrats (Jackson). Now that the primary season is almost over, we can say that the Republican Party of the Third Party System (Lincoln) no longer exists save in name only. When people who consider themselves patriotic Republicans start referring to John McCain as a RINO, we can safely say the Party is over.

It is fitting that Sarah Palin is in the news for her attempt to be elected to Congress. It was John McCain’s selection of her to be his running mate that previewed that eventual collapse of the Republican Party. Little did anyone know at the time that she had broadcast to the longtime faux Democrat and Clinton-supporter, that there was an opportunity for him to be the center of attention and make money be becoming a faux Republican. As a result, when the Tea Party took over the Republican Party, it really was not due to Tea Party issues. It was based on Trump issues or rather personality.

The new Republican Party has only a few main issues:

1. Revenge against people who were not sufficiently loyal – mission accomplished
2. Relitigate 2020 so the results can be decertified
3. Impeach Joe Biden and investigate Hunter Biden.

The purification of the Republican Party of real Republicans is nearly complete. There still may be some local resistance efforts to salvage what is left at the state level. However, at the state level the battle is over.

Other than rigging the electoral process so Joe Biden cannot win and ensuring that Democrats cannot win at the state level, the Trumpican Party has no agenda. It has slogans but no actual platform. Some Trumpican state legislatures have become bogged down in what to do post Roe v. Wade reversal. They are floundering around because they did not think things through and now are confronted with an ever increasing number of real-world situations they would rather avoid. Notice the absolute silence from 45 about what to do. So much for leadership!

Speaking of the absence of leadership, DO NOT ask a Trumpican candidate about what do about the declining water levels in the Colorado either. Trumpicans have no suggestions about what to do in the real world, only slogans about what to yell in the culture wars. At some point, people will pay the price for putting unqualified people in positions of power. As long as times were good, the United States could get away with having an immature child with the emotional maturity of a three-year old as its leader. Unfortunately, his shortcomings left him no match for the coronavirus leaving hundreds of thousands of American dead. The same disastrous results await if Trumpicans are put in power at the national and/or state level.

So what should Lincoln Republicans do? Retirement is one path elected Republicans have taken. Then instead of having cowed elected officials they will be replaced be true believers. They have no interest in governing or ability to do so. In the Senate, at least, where candidates need to be elected on statewide basis and not in gerrymandered districts, there still are traditional Republicans who can cross the aisle for the good of the country. However, their numbers are dwindling. By contrast, the House is hopeless. Republicans have been routed by Trumpicans there.

What then should a traditional Republican do? Another possibility is the Georgia maneuver. In 2020, 28,000 Republicans voted in the election but left the presidential line blank. That made 45 the loser. The same possibility exists in 2022: vote for Republican candidates on the ballot and leave the Trumpican candidate line(s) blank. In Arizona, that might mean not voting at all!

The political realignment of the two party system is underway. With the Republican Party, the transformation is almost complete. But there are two caveats:

1. what if the Trumpican candidates do not prevail in the general elections as they did in the primaries? – There is a growing awareness even among Republicans that the Trump-selected Senate candidates are déjà vu 2010/2012 all over again. Democrats could pick up seats in Senate and Governor races.
2. what happens when the leader of the transformation leaves the stage whether it is due to age, medical, prison, or health? –  At that point the knives will come out as people battle for power for control of the Trumpican Party and maybe even give an opening to the real Republicans to take back their party.

In the meantime, we can enjoy the two mysteries

Why did he remove the government documents? Even though he thought they were his, why these particular records both classified and unclassified as souvenir/trophies?

Who was the informant and what will happen once that person is exposed?

Find Me 624,120 Votes: The 11,780 Georgia Vote Sequel

Trumpicans search for the illusive 11,780 votes (Deliverance)

Who can forget the blockbuster thriller from 2020 when the arch villain memorably said: FIND ME 11,780 VOTES! That thrilling assertion quickly became part of American folklore. The embattled loser struggling to remain in power reached out telephonically to the supposed little people in Georgia eager and willing to do his bidding. Instead he discovered not only did that Secretary of State refuse but he recorded the call! Now he has testified under oath to a jury about the call. A criminal indictment is expected.

THE VOTES HAVE BEEN FOUND! THE VOTES HAVE BEEN FOUND! (Psycho)

While all this is going on, the press has overlooked the fact the missing 11,780 votes have been found. An intrepid group of Trumpican adventurers went deep into the hills of Georgia passed where civilized people live. There they found partially floating in the river, a mysterious out-of-place car. When the trunk of the vehicle was pried open, LO AND BEHOLD, there were the missing votes. [What were you expecting to find? Janet Leigh?]

RELITIGATING 2020

Meanwhile, the attempt to relitigate the 2020 Presidential election continues. True, it does not have the excitement and urgency of when Pillowhead was specifying the actual date when the current occupant of the White House would be removed be replaced by the rightful winner. True, Séance Sydney seems to have lost her ability to communicate with the dead. True, more and more people are turning to the upcoming elections in 2022 and 2024. Still the 2020 effort proceeds in support to maintain the perfect record of the Loser and Hitman never having lost.

Kudos in particular to John Eastman. It was just a short time ago when nobody knew who he was. Then we learned that he was one of the masterminds behind the effort to have the Vice President undo the election results and declare the Loser the winner….or, at least, give the House of Representatives the opportunity to do so. While that initiative failed, Eastman is still at it. He is trying, with less attention and the same lack of success, to have states “decertify” the election results of 2020. Then somehow through some magical process not in the Constitution, the current President and Vice President would be removed from office and the Loser would be inaugurated.

Clearly Eastman has not thought this through. If Biden and Harris step down, the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi would become President, not the Loser. She would then select Joe Biden to her Vice President. She would resign and he would become President again. However if the unconstitutional scenario proposed by Eastman worked, once the Loser was installed as President for his second term he would lose the right to run for a third term in 2024. Perhaps Eastman then would propose that the second term begin only with the inauguration of the Loser in 2022 and the 2024 election should be suspended until 2026. I confess it can be fun exploring the different possibilities in the alternate Eastman world even though none of them are even plausible in the real world.

Still the Eastman cabal carries on with some support in various insurrection states.

2022 PRIMARIES

Suddenly while no one was looking, the stolen election gambit has reared its ugly head in the 2022 primaries. So even before Republicans square off against Democrats in November, the cry of “stolen election” is being heard in Republican primaries. Trumpican candidates have been defeated in Nebraska, Idaho, and North Carolina. Even in Ohio, two-thirds of Republicans rejected the Trumpican Senate candidate. The same is true in the Pennsylvania Republican Senate race where a flurry of law suits had been filed to prevent the Trumpican candidate from having the election stolen from him bfore the Republican candidate conceded. Lawsuits! For a Republic primary! What is the world coming to when Republicans cannot even rely on the integrity of Republican primaries?!

Only in the Georgia Senate primary did things work well as the supremely unqualified Trumpican candidate prevailed because he was a great football player who knows how to take care of women.

On the other hand, in the two big Georgia Republican races that mattered most to the Loser, he did not fare so well. He even got a Congressional Representative to abandon his seat to go down with the ship for him. What dedication.

It seems that the sequel was even a bigger blockbuster in vote fraud than the original. As ace reporter Emerald Robinson for the Pillowhead Network wrote:

President Trump’s endorsement is the single most powerful force in the universe of American politics. There’s never been anything quite like it. Trump-endorsed candidates overwhelmingly prevailed in the latest GOP primaries by a margin of 24-4. In fact, President Trump is running the table on the GOP establishment in the 2022 races. His record stands at 92-7 at the moment. …

That’s what makes the primary results in Georgia last night so curious and so suspect. Georgia is the only state where President Trump’s endorsements did not count….

Something stinks in Georgia. The numbers are funny because many of these races were rigged.

Endorsing incumbent Republican candidates in Republican primaries is a great way to rack up wins. But it did not work in the two races that meant the most. So who does the loser call now to find the missing 624,120 votes? He cannot call the Governor or the Secretary of State. He’s stuck. However these results do not mean he will not carry Georgia in 2024.

2024 Elections

For 2024, it is necessary to put aside the antics of the 2020 decertification and 2022 Republican primary steals.

First, there is an established Trumpican base in the insurrection legislatures that believes the election was stolen in 2020. According to a survey taken by The New York Times (Trump ’20 Election Lies Take Root in Statehouses,” May 22, 2022, print), a significant number of Trumpican legislators who hold office in states won by Joe Biden subscribe to this fraudulent belief:

81% Arizona
78% Pennsylvania
73% Wisconsin.

These people know how the game is played and will be ready to act to ensure their candidate wins in 2024.

Second, the success of the legislatures is dependent of the Governor and/or the Secretary of State depending on how a state is configured. It already is taken for granted that if the Pennsylvanian Trumpican who participated in the January insurrection wins the election for Governor and appoints the Secretary of State that either Biden will not be allowed to win on Election Day or if he does, the results will be challenged. This time the alternate slate of electors will be the state-approved slate.

Similar stories could be told in other states where Trumpicans are challenging for the positions of Governor or Secretary of State. The America First slate of 2020 deniers has multiple candidates. Not surprisingly, it is focusing on the key insurrectionist states. Here the effort is not so much to relitigate 2020 but to control 2024. We will have to wait until after the dust settles in the 2022 elections to know what it means for 2024. 2022 will serve as a test for 2024.

Third, the Trumpicans are actively working to establish the ground forces to suppress the Democratic vote. Last year, the focus was on the laws being passed to suppress the vote. This year we can see Cleta Mitchell, one of the insurrectionists, working to establish a national ground force of both poll workers and poll watchers to monitor the vote. Besides the laws on paper, these people will provide an in-your-face presence at the local precinct level. They will be a rapid deployment force ready to nip Democratic votes in the bud.

In the last election, Democrats mounted their own national legal forces to combat the “stolen election” claim. Next time around that will not be enough. The Civil War will be fought in the election district trenches. Given the levers of power likely to be held by Trumpicans, they may not need the courts anyway. Like the Russians in eastern Ukraine (and Syria before), they may just use the brute force at their disposal to control the outcome.

Putting aside extraneous factors like the House Select Committee and the normal election issues, there may be a new wrinkle to the challenges. Last time Trumpicans were able to get away with the claim that only the presidential vote was stolen. Somehow, all other votes on the ballot were accurate. This time Democrats may not let Trumpicans get away with such nonsense. This year, if the Georgia vote is contested, it is for the Governor, Senator, Secretary of State, Representatives, and state legislators as well. Who knows who will govern there on January 1, 2023? That is just a preview for January 1, 2025, nationwide. The 67 Senators not up for election will be in office then, but who else will be? The resulting chaos will extend not just from Congress but to the states. It is too early to tell what might happen, but it is worth starting to think about scenarios that never have been considered before.

In the 2022 Congressional Elections, How Many Candidates Will Have Been Indicted?

The 2022 Congressional elections may be one for the record books.

Never before will so many candidates have been indicted – and not for corruption like the Cabinet Secretaries under President Swamp Builder but for attempting to steal an election and overthrow the Constitution.

Never before will there have been such an exerted effort to:

1. suppress the vote of one party
2. rig the counting of votes so 11,780 votes or whatever number is needed will be disqualified
3. have the state legislator appoint the Electors
4. gerrymander the Representative districts to ensure control of the House.

We will not need to wait for the 2024 elections for a Constitutional crisis. It is already here.

TRUMPICAN PARTY

The Trumpican Party may not even need to steal the election through an insurrection. Its control of the election infrastructure may be sufficient to provide a legitimate win based on the laws which have been put in place.

Let’s look at the 435 Trumpican candidates in the excessively gerrymandered Congressional districts:

1. a small number of the candidates such as Jim Jordan and Scott Perry will be under indictment for obstruction of the election. The House Select Committee will have its report out well before the election yet alone the end of its term on December 31. The report even will be out in time for the Department of Justice to act before the campaign season is underway. The only remaining question is whether the DOJ actually will act.

The indicted Congressional candidates may even wear their indictments as a badge of honor as Steve Bannon is doing. They saw the election was being stolen. They acted to help the rightful winner be returned to the White House. They are heroes who attempted the save the country for Real Americans from, you know, those people. Trumpicans will regard this indicted seditionists as heroes. Of course, everything they say on the campaign trail can and will be used against them in a court of law. They may be gambling on dragging out the case until they can be pardoned after the 2024 election.

2. a large number totaling around 200 candidates will be people who did not actively participate in the planning of the attempted coup. Instead they actively participated in the cover up or whitewashing of it. These people can be identified from their votes:

* Not to accept electors on January 6 so the results could be overturned
* Not to impeach the Hitman for his efforts to steal the election
* Not to hold Steve Bannon in contempt for disobeying a subpoena
* Not to hold Mark Meadows in contempt for disobeying a subpoena.

This list may be lengthened as the 2022 year unfolds.

3. new candidates who support the Big Lie but were not in Congress at the time to act in its behalf. Some of them may have acted on the state level to support forensic audits to overturn the results as well voter suppression to eliminate the chance of a Trumpican defeat in 2024.

4. the two Republicans remaining in the House will be gone next term. One already has withdrawn from running and the other trails badly in polls against her primaried Trumpican opponent (although she has outraised her).

The net result of all these machinations will a House where the majority of members pledge their loyalty to a person who sought to steal an election and not to the Constitution. That is a Constitutional crisis beginning January 2023.

CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS   

At present there is not a Constitutional crisis but simply an extremely odd situation. The people who support the attempt to steal the election are not in the majority. Due to the control by the Democratic Speaker over the Democratic members, even in a near parity House, the Trumpicans are not in control or able to undermine the Democratic hold. The inmates have not yet taken over the asylum. The rule of law still prevails.

As things stand now, that condition will no longer be true come January 2023. It is not unusual for the out-of-power Party to win in the midterms of the first-term President. But this time, the stakes are higher. A switch from Democratic control of the House of Representatives means that the criminals will be in charge – those who helped plan the attempted steal, those who supported covering up the attempted steal, and those who support the Big Lie.

Should the Trumpican House of Representatives in 2023 be considered legitimate?

The question facing the Democratic Party and the country in 2023 is should anything done by a pro-sedition House of Representatives be treated as law?

How exactly will the United States be governed starting in January 2023, if one of the Houses of Congress declines to accept Joe Biden as the legitimately elected President of United States?

If the Trumpican House doesn’t consider Biden to be legitimate then why should he consider it to be legitimate?

THE CRISIS HAS STARTED

Way back in July/August 2020, Anne Applebaum asked in an article “The Collaborators” (Atlantic):

What would it take for Republican leaders to admit to themselves that Trump’s loyalty cult is destroying the country they claim to love?

The obvious answer 16 months and an attempted coup later is “Nothing.” People keep thinking that there is some straw that will break the camel’s back, some point when Republicans say “Enough is enough!” There has not been a Howard Baker moment and there is not going to be one. Even the Trumpicans including a son and the Foxhub hosts could not get through to him on January 6. He was having the time of his life watching his people fight for him to restore him to power and only when the effort failed could he roused to take some action about the people he loves.

Far from there being a moment when Applebaum’s question will be answered at some breaking point, the trend is the exact opposite.

The Number 1 Republican in House displayed momentary outrage when his life was endangered. Since then he has become a gutless, spineless, craven embarrassment. Even though he is on the Trump list never to be removed, he remains submissive.

The Number 3 Republican in the House did reach that breaking point after January 6. Since then she has been removed from her position, practically run out of the party at home, and primaried. She joins a small group of profile in courage Republicans who withstood the assault and have paid the price.

The potential 1 Republican in the Senate has called it quits. He has seen what happened to Republican Senators like Jeff Flake and Bob Corker. He has seen who replaced Lamar Alexander.  He fears the Trumpicans who will replace Republicans like Richard Shelby of Alabama, Rob Portman of Ohio and Roy Blunt of Missouri. He sees the quality of Trumpican candidates in Georgia and Pennsylvania (now withdrawn). He knows that the current Number 1 Republican is under attack and his supporters will be fewer after the 2022 elections. So Thune is at his breaking point and he is the one who is broken. Time to call it quits and go home.

And as things stand now Joe Biden will never name a Supreme Court judge either.

Right now in America, it is dark before the darker. In 2020, Wisconsin Trumpicans submitted a false slate of Electors and have paid no consequence. They are still trying to reverse the results.  There literally are no limits to what they will do to elect their Lord and Savior, the Chosen One, Blessed Be his Name, Say Hallelujah. Meanwhile the Democrats bring a plastic spoon to a gun fight and wonder why they are losing.

Can West Virginia Save Ezra Klein?

"Civil War" was a top trending topic on Twitter on Sunday after remarks from an attendee of former President Donald Trump's rally in Iowa were widely circulated online and by the media. Trump held a rally at the Iowa State Fairground in Des Moines on Saturday. At the event, Trump supporter Lori Levi told MSNBC that she believes the U.S. is headed for a "civil war." Levi criticized Democrats and Republicans, saying most members of the GOP are "as weak as they possibly could be in Congress." "They're establishment. They don't care about the American people because they're in their elite little tower," she said. "So we're just sick of it, you know, and we're not going to take it anymore. I see a civil war coming. I do. I see civil war coming." (www.newsweek.com)

West Virginia is having a moment. So far in 2021, it has been the legislative year of West Virginia. How much longer can this last? What does it mean for the elections of 2022 and beyond?

JOE MANCHIN IS NOT MITT ROMNEY

In February, 2020, I wrote a blog entitled Where Will Mitt Romney Caucus in 2021? I said the following about Manchin at the time of the second impeachment vote:

It is rare for a Senator to break with a party on an impeachment vote. So far in American history, there is only one instance of a Senator voting to remove a President of his own party. Apparently, the Impeached One thought there was a Democrat who might vote against his party. Joe Manchin, West Virginia Senator, has long been considered one of the more conservative members of the Democratic Party. He has voted more often against his Democratic caucus than with it. There seems to have been a genuine belief that this Senator (and perhaps Doug Jones of Alabama for different reasons) might defect. Obviously that did not happen. The Democratic Party remained united.

The main subject of the blog was not the impeachment vote but the 2020 Senate elections. Different outcomes were possible. I conjectured that there was the possibility of a split Senate and what it might mean.

And then there is Mitt Romney. Suppose when all is said and done, the Trumpicans have 50 Senate seats… But suppose the Democrats win the presidency. Then Romney’s vote could make the difference. In this case, the Democrats only need a net gain of two to put Romney in the driver’s seat.

At the beginning of this year, I returned to the same subject:

Depending on how the vote in Georgia plays out, Mitt Romney may potentially have the opportunity to take a leadership role in healing the country. Of course, even if that opportunity presents itself, he may not rise to the occasion to take such a leadership position. Of course, if he doesn’t, who will?

As it turned out, I had the numbers right but the Senator wrong. One Senator has been in the driver’s seat and taken a leadership position but it has been the West Virginia Senator, Joe Manchin.

THE SENATE AND EZRA KLEIN

Manchin’s position will likely change after the 2022 elections. One possibility is that the Democrats will do well and pick up seats in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and North Carolina. Such a Democratic majority in the Senate would neutralize the significance of Manchin’s vote including for the filibuster. Another possibility of course, is that the Democrats will lose their leadership in the Senate in which case Manchin will be meaningless.

The Democratic prospects in the Senate contributed to a major op-ed piece in The New York Times yesterday entitled “David Shor Is Telling Democrats What They Don’t Want to Hear.” Klein paints a dire picture for the Democrats in accordance with the prognostications of modeler Shor. My purpose here is not to regurgitate Shor’s predictions or Klein’s response. Rather I will hone in on the Senate-related comments.

Klein notes that the Senate configuration overweighs rural states. He cites the Republicans adding a flurry of states in 1889 and 1890 that continue to vote Republican to this very day – North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and Washington (Democratic state level). Klein mentions the last gasp in the present Congress for additional Democratic states in Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. to rectify that imbalance.

The consequences of this division is doom for the Democrats. Essentially, Democrats can pile up the votes in states like California and New York and have little to show for it. I have always thought Democrats in California should create their own Homestead Act in other states. Imagine relocating 1-2 million Democratic voters from California to Republican and/or battleground states. In part, something like that has happened but it is Republicans in California moving to Texas instead. Think of New-York-City-dwelling Democrats who move to Florida and are replaced by immigrants who vote Democrat for a net change of zero. By contrast, when upstate Republicans move to Florida, they are replaced by no one. The result is an even more Democratic state.

In my local paper, there was a report of Westchester County Republicans becoming desperate. Once the county was Republican. Now all county positions are Democratic and all county legislators are Democratic except for one who is Conservative. The Republican Party therefore if it wishes to be successful has to live in real world. It has decided to jettison Trump to get back in the good graces of the voters. Good luck with that effort as the Hitman gears up for the 2024 election.

I mention these New York and California anecdotes to point out that major structural change is needed if the Democrats wish to overcome the Senate and Electoral College obstacles. Small actions just don’t cut it. Once again, West Virginia shows the way.

THE WEST VIRGINIA SOLUTION TO THE SENATE AND ELECTORAL COLLEGE

More and more people now are openly talking about the current civil war and the possibility of secession. On one level, I am pleased to see people are now facing the real world. For years I have been writing about the civil, not cultural war. For years I have expressed my doubts over whether we will celebrate the 250th birthday of the country in its present form. At this point baring medical concerns, the 2024 presidential election will be a rematch of the 2020 election, the first rematch since 1956. To know this far in advance who the candidates will be really is remarkable. The Hitman already has taken his show on the road to Iowa. The campaign is underway.

In 2024, no matter what, the Hitman will claim victory on Election Night. What will Joe Biden do? January 6, 2021, is small taste of what will happen if the Hitman is not certified as the winner in 2025. The civil war will move beyond the talking stage to the fighting stage. We already know that whether we want to admit it or not. Since we know this scenario will play out, what if anything can be done to minimize the looming violence?

One step is the West Virginia example from America’s Second Civil War.  The key to minimizing the violence and uncertainty is following the precedent of West Virginia. In the Second Civil War, the people of what became West Virginia separated from the Confederate state of Virginia. They did not ask Virginia’s permission; they just did it and with Federal approval.

We need to follow that precedent. The eleven Confederate states need to divide into their constituent parts – part Trumpican and part American. The boundary lines should not be that difficult to determine. There already are gerrymandered districts at the Congressional and state level. Voting results are known at the county level. As part of the post-2020 census reapportionment, the Confederate state legislatures effectively will divide their states into two groups anyway. The next step is to take that division further by creating separate states based on those boundary lines drawn by the Confederates.

The result will be eleven new states. What worked for Republicans in 1889 and 1890 can work for Democrats in 2024. The new states directly address the issues raised by Klein and in a far more decisive manner. The eleven new states mean 22 additional Senators and a reallocation of the current Representatives. The 22 states will have 44 Senators, 22 Trumpican and 22 Democrat. These numbers compare to 18 Trumpican and 4 Democrat at present. The net increase of 14 Democrats creates a high hurdle for Trumpicans to overcome to achieve control of the Senate. The separation also eliminates the issues of voter suppression, rigged counting, and partisan Secretaries of State at least in the Confederate states. It also means the current Electoral College vote totals in Confederate states including Texas and Florida will be split between the two candidates instead of winner-take-all.

We all know that winter is coming. We all know that the storm is coming. We all know that Americans will not accept the results of the 2024 presidential election. Why wait until after the fact to respond? Why not act now to minimize the violence? Separate the Confederate states into Union and Confederate peacefully now while we still can. Trumpicans are hard at work to ensure the game is rigged in 2024; it is past time for the Democrats to rise to the occasion and fight back.

Mr. Ed versus Dr. Fauci: Lessons from Covid

Covid has shed a light deep into the American society and continues to do so. Unfortunately the American Covid show is playing not only for American audiences but a world one. Perhaps more than with any other country, what happens here is showcased to a global audience. So as we and the world look at America and Covid, what do we see?

AMERICA’S TECHNOLOGICAL PROWESS

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, one of the shining lights of America’s response to Covid has been the quick development of not just one but multiple vaccines. This development was a long time in the making. It built on years of scientific research that had no immediate payback. If ever there was a case study in the benefit of pure research it is in the disease that continues to infect America. Without all that behind-the-scene and below-the-radar work by research scientists we would not have been able to develop the vaccines as quickly as we did. Whether or not the American public realizes this development history is problematic meaning “No, it does not.” One only has to listen to people declare that the vaccine was developed too quickly with shortcuts to realize what has occurred. At least with the Moon Landing, people could physically observe the steps being taken along the way. By contrast, the America people do not know the Mercury and Gemini stages existed in the development of the vaccines; they just see the Apollo moon landing as if it happened out of nothing.

AMERICA’S STUPIDITY

Just as America’s technological prowess makes us the envy of the world, so our stupidity makes us a laughingstock of the world. Unfortunately these displays extend from the highest level in society to a surprisingly wide swath of the general population.

This is not the place to recount all the absurdities uttered by Little Donnee Disinfectant. He will be a case study all by himself in future crisis management classes. He will join the ranks of Nero fiddling while Rome burns (which is not fair to Nero!) as exemplifying ineptitude and incompetence during a crisis.

But the critical point is that he has paid little price for his shortcomings. True, he did lose the election but still received around 75 million votes. His continued support shows that true believers do not hold him accountable and they are eager to return to the office which he had stolen from him.

The bigger example of American stupidity is in response to the vaccine itself. Remember how you once thought the development of the vaccine would mean the end of the pandemic? Now here we are going from being on the brink of normalcy to having infection rates that are off the charts compared to what we once thought was the worst.

The only tracing that is occurring at present is from the anti-vaxx adherents who threaten “we know where you live. We will find you.” You would think the school boards were election poll workers who reported the results honestly the way they and others are being vilified today. All around the world even in trump-hole countries people are clamoring for the vaccine…except here.

Meanwhile governors and parents are eager to sacrifice children in the quest to be the 2024 presidential nominee, to spite Joe Biden, or because of their Constitutional right to play Russian roulette with the lives of other people. However just to show they are not anti-science, they will take a horse cure, go to a hospital when infected, and expect everyone else to pay the bill for their stupidity. How long did it take Trumpican Governors to heroically boast that they will not allow Joe Biden to end the pandemic in their state no matter how many people it infects and kills? Remember how the world looked at us when the vaccine first exploded throughout the country especially in New York? Now Americans from across the country are indelibly stamping the USA as a place of idiots.

MEANING FOR THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

One must keep in mind that the race to the bottom by Trumpican wannabees is futile (Abbott, DeSantis, Johnson, and Scott: The Race to the Bottom). That position is already occupied. He is running in 2024 and will put the wannabees in their place. There is nothing to be gained by selling your soul unless you think it will benefit you in 2028.

One also must keep in mind there is a difference between being a leader and being a con artist (Do Tucker/Trump Oppose the Socialist Chlorination of Water?). An effective con artist has to tailor the con to the gullibility and fears of the target. For example, in 2008, Barack Obama as a foreign-born Moslem was very effective. In 2016, “lock her up” and “build a wall” similarly were effective. The con artist follows the crowd and then amplifies the fear to make a killing.

That approach may not work in 2024. We have already seen what happened in Alabama when the 2024 nominee admonished his followers to get the vaccine. It backfired on him just as it had when Hannity did the same on his cable show. This reality puts the con artist in a strange position. How can he take credit for the development of something his supporters do not want to use? The people with the loudest voices at the rallies will be the ones who have not taken the vaccine, not the ones who have.

So what do you do in the 2022 Congressional elections? Every Trumpican candidate is going to be asked on the position on the vaccine. The new mantra by the vocal Tea-Party-Trumpicans will be for parental choice and NO VACCINE!!! Think about it. One political party that wants to govern the supposedly most powerful country in the world will be intimated by its base into vilifying Dr. Fauci, praising screwball cures, and championing the needless exposure of children … and it thinks that is a winning message.

As a result, one of the Democratic posters for the 2022 and 2024 elections will be a surprising one. It will show a revision of the famous “Uncle Sam Wants You recruiting posters. Only now it will be a picture of the Joe Biden and the former-President-now-challenger both saying “We want you to get the vaccine!”

HOW CHINA, AND RUSSIA AND ISIS CAN DEFEAT AMERICA

Our enemies are watching our public displays of stupidity. This scenario will happen in the movies before it does in real life but think of the opportunity we are displaying to our adversaries. China, Russia, and ISIS know or will realize that a virus attack against the United States will work. They know that even if the United States has a vaccine and/or cure for the virus, tens of millions of people will not take it. They would rather die first.

So let us just say that an adversary has some smallpox virus. Suppose years from now the anti-vaxx people have eliminated the requirement to be vaccinated against anything and everything. What would happen if China released the smallpox in the United States? It would claim to have a vaccine which it would distribute for free throughout the world. Meanwhile millions of Americans would decline to protect themselves against smallpox unless instructed to do so by Mr. Ed. I am not saying this will happen; I am saying that Covid exposes how willing too many Americans are not to defend themselves against viruses.

The lessons of Covid will continue to unfold to both an American and world audience. Joe Biden will try to be the President the United States needs to end the pandemic. His 2024-challenger and his supporters will fight him every step of the way. As befitting his immaturity, the sore loser has challenged the President to enter the arena against him on the twentieth anniversary of 9/11. He really believes that is a true test of leadership. If he was the only one who believed it, he could be institutionalized so he could get the care and help he needs. Unfortunately since Trumpicans think that challenge proves their Lord and Savior has the right to be commander in chief, we could be in for an even bigger assault in 2024 on America than either from 1/6 or Covid.

Abbott, DeSantis, Johnson, and Scott: The Race to the Bottom

The Race for the 2024 Republican Presidential Nomination Heats Up

The race is on. It seems like every day another contestant in the race to the bottom is making some outlandish claim. One day it is the Covid Governor of Texas. Another day it is the Covid Governor of Florida. Then it is the former governor of Florida and current Senator who thinks New York is not part of America. Meanwhile the will-he-or-won’t-he run Senator from Wisconsin has become the comic gift that gives continuously. What is going on?

THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

Even as the fight over the 2020 election continues to energize the Trumpican Party, the jockeying for position for the 2024 nomination is underway. While it might seem a tad early to be engaged in this competition, smarter people than me evidently have decided that it is never to soon. We are witnessing the pre-starting gate maneuvers of racing yachts angling for the best position for when the race officially begins in 2023.

Each contestant constantly surveys the field to see what the others a doing. If someone in Florida has an early lead in some polls, then someone in Texas must rush to build a wall to counter that popularity. Everybody knows how popular the slogan of build a wall is to Trumpicans. And if you can wrangle some donations/contributions out of it, so much the better.

Let’s not forget the 25th! It seems like only yesterday when people seriously considered invoking the 25th Amendment to remove the immature simpleminded in-over-his-head-person from the position of President. Think of how many more Americans would be alive today if that effort had any traction and was more than wishful thinking. Since Pillow Head’s cyber symposium was a nothingburger and the Cyber Ninjas remain a now-Covid joke who do not know when to leave the stage, perhaps the 25th Amendment will succeed where all other efforts to “Stop the Steal” have failed. Not likely. The obvious counter is, “So Trumpicans want Kamala Harris to be President.” Obviously that is not true. It demonstrates that the ploy is a stunt to get airtime on Foxhub and to have some fun.

How else to make sense in the perpetual nonsense from Wisconsin. It serves no purpose there. Joe Biden won the state and the governor is a Democrat. Being a laughingstock does not help in a re-election campaign. Senate is a state election and not a gerrymandered one. The national grandstanding serves no constructive purpose in a Wisconsin state election. Plus if he loses a re-election campaign, then it is the end of the political line for him. So he must be thinking about 2024, too.

These alpha males are not stupid people; they just act like ones for Foxhub. Seriously, they do know what they are doing. Their stars are aligned for 2024. Their moment will have passed by 2028. It is now or never if they want to be elected President. They have made calculated decisions that to win the nomination requires them to win the race to the bottom. They are all in right now.

THE 2024 VICE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

So far, the smarter play is for the vice-presidential slot in 2024. A female candidate opposite the Democratic one provides a better opportunity to regain the white suburban Republican women who preferred Biden to a “Cuomo.” The Vice-Presidential position in 2024 with a presidential slot in 2028 offers a reasonable path to becoming the historic first female President of the United States. There is no upside to going out on limb now to wrest the presidential nomination in 2024 when that position already is taken.

In the meantime Kristi Noem is having some fun at the expense of Ron DeSantis and Gregg Abbott.

“Now, I’m not picking fights with Republican governors. All I’m saying is that we need leaders with grit. That their first instinct is the right instinct.”

Gosh, I wonder what she means when she mocks these would-be alpha males for not having “grit.”

However, one action of the South Dakota Governor is puzzling. She concluded one of her Trumpican-style rallies with a song. Not a pre-recorded standard at such a rally, but a song she actually sung. Strangely the song was the Battle Hymn of the Republic. The song is a stirring anthem much beloved by Abraham Lincoln during America’s second civil war. It was memorably sung in 1963 by Judy Garland in honor of the recently-assassinated John Fitzgerald Kennedy. While it is quite possible that South Dakotans fought on the Union side, that is a strange position to showcase in a party that prefers Lee to Lincoln.

2024 NOW

These maneuverings for 2024 overlook the stark political reality. There are two problems with the energetic effort to win the race to the Trumpican bottom. The gusto of Abbot, DeSantis, Johnson, and Scott is misplaced. The bottom already is occupied. Secondly, there is no opening in 2024, that is a wishful thinking, a mirage. The occupier of the bottom has his course laid out. He is pursuing the three V’s: Victimization leading to victory leading to vengeance.

Strangely enough, the main Trumpican threat comes from the Trumpicans themselves. A long time ago on August 2, I wrote that

Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump are not leaders. They are channellers. They feel your pain to exploit their gain. They do not cause your grievance but they are skilled enough to sense its existence. Then they can amplify it, use it, profit from it. However, they do not cause the grievance or pain in the first place.

One might think that the former President would be campaigning full-stop to have his followers be vaccinated. After all, he sometimes like to take credit for the development of the vaccines under his Warp Speed program. Sometimes the vaccine even is called the Trump vaccine so as not to give Biden any credit. And he was vaccinated himself. So why hasn’t he been championing the use of the vaccine? Do Tucker/Trump Oppose the Socialist Chlorination of Water?

Lo and behold, look what then happened a few days later in Alabama. He called on his followers to be vaccinated, they booed him, and he retreated as Hannity had after he called on his viewers to be vaccinated. One wonders after this brief foray into leadership, if he will ever try that again.

The question then is “Who is driving the Trumpican train?” He is not the leader. He is not steering the people. They are telling him where they want to go and he amplifies it. That has been the pattern from when he switched from being a fake Democrat and Clinton supporter to being a fake Republican.

Think of what his favorite candidate for the Senate in Alabama has said.

Although this terrorist’s motivation is not yet publicly known, and generally speaking, I understand citizenry anger directed at dictatorial Socialism and its threat to liberty, freedom and the very fabric of society. Trump does not control the crazies, the crazies control him. Where they go all, he goes one right behind them. The Marjorie Taylor Airheads, the right-wing radio talk show hosts, the lone wolf insurrectionists/terrorists, and the “No mask, No Vaccine, No Slavery” people drive the conversation. The challenge for Donald Trump will be to keep up with how extreme and combative his followers have and will become. If he fails to follow them, then they will dump him for someone else. It’s Looney Tunes time.

 

Florida Covid Governor Bans Halloween Masks as Child Abuse

In a stunning move, the Florida Covid Governor threw his hat into the ring as a candidate for president in 2024 on the Republican line. He did so with his heroic channeling of another southern governor by blocking his state from a federal invasion. His words update those of the 1968 presidential candidate:

If you are coming after the rights in Florida, I am standing in your way.

And I can tell you: Florida, we’re a free state. People are going to be free to choose to make their own decisions.

Times have changed. This time the southern governor defying the federal government will not have to run as an independent. Instead he can run as a Republican.

END SOCIALIST SLAVERY

The Florida Covid Governor is campaigning on the standard southern message of ending slavery. He has identified multiple ways in which the socialist slave government deprives individuals of their freedom of choice. And if there is one thing that southern Republicans champion above all else including their right to be packing any weapon anywhere, then it is freedom of choice for each and every individual. The idea of the government making the choice for you is abhorrent. Florida Covid intends to leverage the freedom of choice mantra right straight to the White House in the 2024 election.

The following items have been, are being, or should be removed from the mandatory compulsion list by the government. Henceforth, they are to be considered optional at the discretion of adult individuals who are free to make their own decisions.

Covid masks
Catcher masks
Goalie masks
Football helmets
Surgeon masks
Motorcycle helmets.

People are free to wear such items if they so choose but are under no obligation to do so. The socialist slave state does not rule in Florida.

Other items where freedom to choose trumps all other considerations include:

Seat belts in cars
Child torture contraptions in car backseats which could be considered child abuse
Seat belts in planes over Florida air space
Obtaining a driver’s license
Having automobile insurance
Having automobile inspections
Obeying stop signs, traffic lights, or any other traffic sign
Obeying speed limits
Obeying speed limits by schools
Obeying school bus signs to stop
No drinking and driving
No texting and driving
No left turn on red
No driving through red lights.

As one can see, many of the infringements on our right to be free relate to driving.  People should be free to drive wherever they want at whatever speed they want based on any rules and regulations they want without consideration for anyone else.

Again as a reminder, Florida Covid Governor is not saying that you do not have the freedom to obey these rules and regulations. He simply is saying you have the right not to follow the rules imposed by a socialist slave state. Informed adults can make intelligent decisions about what rules to obey and which ones to ignore. And even if the decision is not an intelligent one, it still is up to each individual to make that decision and not for a socialist slave to make it for you for the supposed “common good.” The “common good” is for free individual choice. The Florida Covid Governor will be asking people to take the pledge to say “No to Socialist Slavery.”

A complete list of removal of socialist slavery rules and actions is not available at this time.  Other actions contemplated at this point are

Elimination the chlorination of water
Elimination of the fluoridation of water
Elimination of the certificate of occupancy.

And where Florida Covid Governor goes, Texas Covid Governor goes too.

JEB BUSH VERSUS RON DEGENERATE

 Times have changed. It is not that long ago when people expected another Clinton-Bush presidential showdown. Think of how different the world would be today if low-energy Bush with his Mexican-American wife had been the standard bearer for the Republican Party. Their son would not have sold his soul and for nothing for one thing.

For another, House frat-boy Matt Gaetz would still be a Bush loyalist. His has no values beyond playing the game of power. In a sense he is like the proverbial canary in the mine. He recognized that Bush was going nowhere and switched to the winning side. Now that he faces his own legal trouble, he aligned with the popular Marjorie Taylor-Airhead (MTA). He knows that MTA has a national audience whom she can rally to his cause in the event he needs help against the justice system.

Florida today is not the Florida of only a few years ago. Times have changed. Instead of a governor leading the charge for vaccination, the Covid Governor is an obstacle to safety.

CAMPAIGN STRATEGY 

 Florda Covid Governor is not a stupid person. He is not a simpleminded immature person with the emotional maturity of a three-year old. He fully recognizes that Trumpicans are the key to his political success at the national level. He knows that Woke Democrats will continue to alienate white people and there is little Joe Biden can do to stop them. He knows that Trumpicans prefer image to substance and have limited reasoning skills. One only has to observe MTA’s performance in Alabama or Pillow Head’s analysis of how the election was stolen to know that there is no limit to what Trumpicans will believe in support of their view of the real world and to oppose Woke Socialism. For the Covid Governor being denounced on CNN pales in importance before being praised on Foxhub.

One should note that Florida Covid is aiming for 2024 and not 2028. No matter what, he will not be the vice-presidential candidate in 2024.  Whoever is that vice-presidential candidate in 2024 will have the inside track to the presidential candidacy in 2028. This analysis is based on the presumption that Republicans will not take back their party no matter what happens in the 2022 and 2024 elections. America’s third civil war will only intensify. Trumpicans will be seeking a candidate who defies and challenges the Woke socialist state.

To be the candidate in 2024, Florida Covid needs to be able to push his former mentor aside. He needs the January 6 Committee and the Department of Justice to bring criminal charges of sedition against all those who participated in the attempt to steal the election and overthrow constitutional government in the United States. Only then can Florida Covid step into the opening created in the Trumpican Party with the decapitation of its criminal layer. Only then can he push the criminals aside and stand tall as the true practitioner of Trumpism without the legal baggage. Only then can he be the candidate of revenge.

Florida Covid is fighting the good fight with a goal in mind. If people die as result, then that is the price he is willing to have them pay. They are collateral damage on his hopeful path to the presidency in 2024.

What Will Trumpicans Do on August 14?

The Trumpican Book of Revelation foretells his return

We are less than one week away from one of the momentous days in the history of the United States. An unprecedented event is about to occur. A sitting President will be removed from office midterm. We came close with Andrew Johnson. This time is different. You can feel the excitement mounting. You can sense the joy beginning to erupt across the land. One can start to count the hours until the glorious day of divine deliverance occurs.

PILLOW HEAD’S PERFORMANCE

Pillow Head teased us with his performance on CNN of what is to come at his conference. Never in the annals of history has there been a better organized, better sourced, and better presented case than when Pillow Head dazzled a world audience with the truth he has uncovered. Is there anyone who knows more about the law and how voting works in America than Pillow Head himself?

Truly his performance was one for the record books. I predict that debaters in high school and college, trial lawyers, and screen writers will turn to Pillow Head’s talk for inspiration and guidance in how to marshal an argument when unmasking a crime. Not since Sean Hannity exposed Seth Rich has there been such a masterful display of connecting the dots to reveal the ugly criminal truth. Now we know that even devices not connected to the internet can be hacked. Truly the steal-the-election crime was overwhelming in its complexity, design, and execution.

The end is now in sight. Pillow Head has carefully documented and presented his case for the most egregious cyber-crime in world history. There can be no doubt now of the consequences. It is only a matter of waiting a few more days for the removal sequence to unfold. In addition, Pillow Head’s team of lawyers will be seeking criminal indictments in multiple counties throughout the country for the perpetrators of his steal. This time the lawyers have the hard evidence and do not need to concern themselves about retribution from the courts for frivolous lawsuits devoid of merit and intelligence.

However, I confess I would feel more confident about the validity of the August 13 date if instead of petitioning the Court on his income taxes, the Still-President simply had said, “My new Acting Attorney General will reverse that decision on my taxes on August 14.”  And, of course, none of his people will cooperate with the January 6 Commission witch hunt either.  Since he voiced neither objection, I guess he lacks confidence in Pillow Head’s predictions even if he accepts Pillow Head’s data.

POST TRUMPATIC STRESS SYNDROME

On the off chance that events do not unfold as predicted, what then are the consequences?

Consider the disappointments that Trumpicans have experienced so far.

They were not able to celebrate after Election Day.

They were not able to celebrate on January 6.

They were not able to celebrate on January 20.

They were not able to celebrate on March 4.

They will not be able to celebrate on August 13.

Combined, all these failed days of joy pack a powerful traumatic punch. How much more trauma can they be expected to endure?

Trumpicans still know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the election was stolen. Nothing will ever sway them from that belief. They do not care if the theft was due to Chinese bamboo paper, Chinese thermometers, Jewish lasers, Italian satellites, dead people voting, illegal aliens voting, or some combination. They know it has to be something. Their concern instead is over the redress for this monstrous theft. At this point, the odds are they have run out of options for anything to be done. Perhaps the last gasp is the seven step plan outlined above.

Although there is no date attached to the implementation of that plan, one possible date for portions of it is the 2022 elections. At this point even Democrats expect to lose control of the House. Perhaps then the new Speaker of the House will yield his position, the House will impeach Joe Biden, the Senate will remove both Biden and Harris, the rightful President will resume office, and the rightful Speaker will return to his position. It certainly is true that if the Democrats lose control of the House that Joe Biden will be impeached twice before the 2024 election. Unfortunately for the loser there is no foreseeable legal way for him to return to the White House except by winning the next presidential election. Trumpicans are going to have to forgo their celebration until then.

PREVIEWING 2024

It should be taken for granted that the 2024 election will be rematch of the 2020 election as things stand now. This presumes that both candidates are in good health and that neither one will run if not physically and mentally up to the job.

For some strange reason, some political commentators and actual politicians think that 2024 will not be a rerun. I kid you not, but there are people handicapping who will be the Trumpican candidate in the event that the original voluntarily chooses not to run. Perhaps he won’t want to lose again!

The mind boggles at this view. Think of how hard he has worked to sustain the big lie that that election was stolen. It is August and we are still talking about it as current events. Tens of millions of people fervently believe the election was stolen. Their Lord and Savior, the Chosen One, Blessed Be His Name still holds Cabinet meetings and conducts himself as the 45th and current President of the United States. The Governors of Florida and Texas know that in the event of a hurricane, they need to go to him for aid. No one is going to risk a Christie.

Everyone who sold their soul in the hopes of being the one chosen for 2024 as the successor sold their soul in vain. The only battle is over who he will pick to his Vice Presidential candidate. And if you are not a woman, do not even bother. Even niece Mary Trump has come around to the view that Donald will run again. After, the electoral game is rigged so he cannot lose in Arizona and Georgia in 2024.

 ALTERNATE REALITIES INTERSECT

At some point, probably prior to the 2022 elections, the alternate realities will intersect. They are not parallel rails extending forever, separate and never meeting. They are instead two trains on the same track on a collision course. The open question is which one will knock the other one off.

The Trumpican track will run until 2024. Then we will see if all the voter suppression and rigged elections efforts will prevail.

But there is another track that could shortchange that process even before the 2022 election. I am not referring to the criminal case in New York which is progressing at turtle speed.  The January 6 Committee knows that if it does not finish its job before the 2022 election and if the Democrats lose control of the House, then the plug will be pulled on it. In an instant, the House will shift from investigating January 6 to impeaching Joe Biden. That Sword of Damocles provides a much firmer deadline than does August 13 for Trumpicans.

His Congressional co-conspirators

His Department of Justice co-conspirators.

They need to have documented the timeline and to have prepared charges of sedition against those who sought to overthrow Constitutional rule in America and instigated the assault on January 6. While August 13 may be a joke the election deadline is a deadly serious one. If there is unfinished business by the 2022 elections, then then it may remain unfinished. The Committee does not have the option of moving the goalposts the way the Trumpicans do every time a deadline fails to deliver.

The Department of Justice has a longer deadline. It is not subject to the election results. Its investigation can continue. Still as we continue to learn more and more about how far the hitman was willing to go to overthrow the election and the Constitution, we realize how close we came to not celebrating our 250th birthday as a country. After Bill Barr, the Deluge. If only he had stayed a few more days we might never have heard of the Clark-Perry machinations because they would have been curtailed…or perhaps Barr saw what was coming and decided to bail before being entrapped in seditious activity.  Even he may have his limits. He should be asked under oath. The DOJ may need to up its game, show some vigor, and indict some people.

THE BRUTUS/HOWARD BAKER MOMENT

If and only if the January 6 Committee and the DOJ do their jobs, then there may be a window of opportunity to push aside the Loser once and for all. Then one of the soul-sellers will be positioned to be the candidate in 2024 instead. The Florida Covid Governor knows this. Ironically, for any one of the soul-sellers be nominated in 2024, they need the help of the Democrats. They need the Democrats to make him damaged goods. The hitman still will not leave the stage voluntarily, but maybe, just maybe, one of the soul-sellers will be willing to push him off once he is charged with sedition.
